Building Bridges Conference- “Passage to the American Dream”

This two-day conference, titled “Passage to the American Dream” is designed
to bring together people of the community who provide services and care for
refugee and immigrant families, as well as those who came to our communities
and are now our neighbors, co-workers, and fellow citizens.
What does the American dream mean to you? For many individuals it is the
opportunity to start a new life. The conference will provide individual
experiences from first generation refugees and many workshops that will
enhance your understanding of the different organizations and people who
work to provide services to Refugees and Immigrants.
The Conference is designed for you and contains key topics of:
* Health and Well-being
* Integration of families in the community
* Education - understanding Refugee and immigrant students
* Cultural background
