The North Dakota Curriculum Initiative (NDCI) is a long-term professional development program for North Dakota public and non-public school curriculum administrators and teachers.

Create Lessons that are Data-Driven and Technology Integrated

For grade(s) 9-12.

Participants will apply the information and technology resources available to help them for differeniating instruction and addressing learning needs.

Each participant will:

use real classroom data to determine gaps in student achievement of benchmark(s).

choose one or more standards/benchmarks on which to focus a lesson.

write student-friendly essential questions to frame their lesson goal.

identify the technology resources that are available to them and will help address the identified standards/benchmarks.

Create lesson products that integrate technology to help present the main concepts, engage students in exploring the topic(s), and assess student progress.
